Gen. Fonseka's wife gives first election speech |

The wife of detained Gen. Sarath Fonseka spoke for the first time in an election platform when she attended a rally at Hyde Park in Colombo this afternoon (Mar. 08).
Giving the speech, Anoma Fonseka urged Sri Lankan women to unite against injustice.
The Democratic National Alliance organized the protest meeting demanding the release of Gen. Fonseka who had been arrested on conspiracy charges a month ago.
JVP leader Somawansa Amarasinghe and other top politicians of the DNA attended the rally.(CT)
