Police crackdown on narcotics

The Police have begun to crack down on illegal narcotics dealings and have seized 12 kilos and 665 grams of cannabis in the Kahatagasdigiliya area, according to Police Spokesman S.P Prishantha Jayakody. A 24 year old man was arrested after being found in possession of the 12kg of Cannabis and will face trial at Anuradhapura High Court.(DM)
